jekyll software package provides Simple, blog aware, static site generator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jekyll
jekyll is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jekyll package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jekyll *
You will get with jekyll package name, version, architecture and description in a table
